The Clothes Show Live 2013 Haul

IMG_2899Go grab a cup of tea, its gonna be a long one!

If you saw my previous post you would know I went to The Clothes Show Live! They had some many good deals and temptations!

I’ll start with perfume first!

IMG_2884There was a Top Model stall. They were advertising the Top Model Woman fragrance that has just come out! We had a spritz and didn’t think much of it! Later that day the smell settled into a really lovely soft smell and I had to go back and grab it before they ran out! Your not gonna believe this deal! I am glad I got it at the end of the day because it was very heavy.

Originally the fragrance sells for £50. It was £20 PLUS the 4 other perfumes for FREE! I figured they would make great Christmas and birthday presents. Bargain!

  • It came with –
  • Top Model Woman Gift Set
  • Love in Paris
  • Eternal Romance
  • Disguise
  • Dimond Geezer

IMG_2888Next we had to go the Barry M. Its my sisters favorite! They were doing goodie bags for £10. We split it and spent a fiver each. I’m glad we did because she already have a few of the polish colours in there. Another amazing deal!

In my half I got  –

  • Nail Effect in 321 – A gold shimmer crackle colour
  • Limited edition in Lilac Foil
  • Nail Paint in Silver
  • Dazzle Dust it 15 – A green shimmer colour
  • Lip Gloss in a nude colour
  • Silver Glitter Stick
  • Super Soft Eye Crayon in No.9

That alone was worth more than £1o never mind the rest!

IMG_2890Rimmel were doing goodie bags too. They were £5 each. You could choose from 2. I got the Retro Glam package. I s bought it for the Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara. I have been wanted to try this since it came out

It came with –

  • Scandal Eyes Mascara
  • Instant Tan – I’m probably going to give this to a friend
  • Salon Pro Nail Varnish in Desire – It’s a gorgeous winter colour
  • A sample of the Wake Me Up Foundation

IMG_2894I think Models Own was one of my favorite stalls. It was £10. Once again me and Becky split it. You could pick 3 nail colours and get the rest for free!

This is what I got –

  • Nail Polish in 148 – It’s such a stunning colour. Lilac with almost holographic shimmer in it!
  • Nail Polish – I think this was a Clothes Show Live exclusive as it doesn’t have a name. It’s a chunky glitter blue polish
  • Eye Liner Pencil in Brown
  • Models Own Shadow applicator
  • A nail file
  • Lip Balm – It almost smells like a candle but I love it!

IMG_2896I’m almost at the end I promise! We were stopped by a lovely lovely guy from Limitless Photography. He offered us a deal we could not pass up! It was also the perfect birthday present for my best friend Katie.

It includes –

  • Wine and Champaign all day! – Cant say no to that..
  • Hand Massage
  • Facial
  • Manicure
  • Hair styled
  • Makeup done by a MAC makeup artist
  • A photo shoot and prints at the end

We are all so excited!!!

IMG_2886Lastly..I’m going to be a bit of a party pooper here…We had platinum tickets which meant we had really good seats at the cat walk and a free goodie bag. Seeing as we paid around £22 extra the goodie bags were shocking! I have to admit the bags were gorgeous. “I’m with glamorous —->”

They included –

  • A show guide
  • Free Cat Food – Yes…cat food?!
  • Sure deodorant
  • A hair tie
  • Smints – They are yummy
  • A panty liner…I know right?!
  • Elvive hair samples
  • A big pile of flyers

Ermm..thanks Clothes Show?

I can defiantly look past it and im defiantly going next year!!

Im finished! Phew!! I had an amazing time and I hope you did too if you went! xxx

November Favorites!

IMG_2818Oh my…I haven’t posted a blog in 2 whole weeks! Sorry!! I am back with loads more motivation.

I thought the perfect way of getting back into my blog would be to do a monthly favorite post. Everyone loves  those right?!

Well..November has been a pretty good month for me. I turned 22, I started my new job, which I love and I got tickets to The Clothes Show Live in Birmingham! Thanks Mumma! So excited! Are any of you guys going this year??

Iv tried lots of new products this month and I’m excited to show you what I have been reaching for!

IMG_2808Firstly I have found my perfect winter fragrance! My boyfriend went to Spain for a week or so and bought me back perfume! It’s by Don Algodon and its called Chic and Sexy. I can’t explain fragrances very well so I have Googled  it.

The perfume is composed of cassis, bergamot and citrus green in the notes; Peach, jasmine, violet and floral fruity notes of heart and patchouli, vanilla, red fruits and hints Oriental Woody bottom notes.

No wonder I love it. My go-to smells are defiantly peach, jasmine and vanilla. It’s just a lovely sweet yet soft and fresh smell. The only thing I would say is it doesn’t last very long and I don’t want to run out of it 😦 Check it out here!

The second thing is very different for me. Fake tan! Yes you read it right..fake tan. If you have followed me for a while you will know I am pasty white, even in the summer. Don’t get me wrong I really love being pale, I think its different and pretty. As my new job is in a spa they finally persuaded me to get a tan. They promised I would not turn orange, it wouldn’t be too dark and it wouldn’t be streaky. Sure enough it was perfect! I felt so much healthier with a tan. Of course I went with the lightest one they had, sensitive.  If you have had bad experiences in the past try having a St. Tropez tan its gorgeous.

The last one brings me swiftly along to my next favorite. St. Tropez Prep and Maintain kit. It comes with Tan Enhancing Body Polish and Tan Enhancing Body moisturizer. They smell lovely and are the perfect way of maintaining a natural looking tan for as long as possible.  Give it a go for only £6!

Next is an NYC palette in Picnic in Central Park. They are such gorgeous colours and my go to for the IMG_2812winter. Be sure to keep an eye out for a look using this palette! You can find it here.

Almost there now I promise! Next is a MeMeMe mascara in Fat Cat. It’s a volumising mascara. At first I really didn’t like it. I have completely changed my mind now I have tried using two coats of it. It doesn’t clump up, it gives me so much volume and I love the wand. I got it in a glossy box but you can find it here. Iv just realised its on sale for £3.99 at the moment! Complete bargain!

IMG_2810The last product on my list is from Lush! Its one of their lip balms in Honey Trap! What I love about this is the smell, the taste and the way it makes my lips feel. I use it every morning and every night! They may have changed the formula a bit since I got it but give it a go! You can find it here!

So that’s it! Sorry it was so long! What are your November favorites??

As always..Have a beautiful day! xxx

My SkinCare Routine

IMG_2489I thought I would try something different today and show you my skin care routine. My main reason for doing this is my skin is on its best behavior right now and I think I have just about got my skin care routine spot on!

The most important thing to remember is everyone skin needs are completely different and just because it works for one person, no way means it works for another. I found that out the hard way and now have a bin full of half used skin care products.

As you have probably noticed it don’t use lines of products. I mix and match to find the right combination for me.

My skin type is combination which is a right pain in the butt! I have dry patches and a oily T-zone. My problem area is defiantly my chin.

So lets get stuck in!

Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash – This is from The Body Shop and its one of my all time favorites. I have re-purchased it time and time again. It says its for combination/oily. I love it because unlike other face washes for oily skin it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight and dry. It removes my facial makeup perfectly and no it doesn’t smell like seaweed thank goodness! I use this at night time only. You can find it here.

St. Ives Apricot Scrub – This is the UK’s No.1 scrub brand, or so it says!  I use the one for sensitive skin. I found the original one is a little bit too harsh for my skin and left it feeling sore! This scrub smells beautiful. It doesn’t break me out and you only need the tiniest bit so it lasts for AGES! That’s all I can say about it really… I use it probably every other night. You can find it here.

L’oreal Skin Perfection Velvety Soft Toner – This is defiantly my favorite item in my skin care routine. This is what I think keeps my skin clear. I got lazy with toners until I tried this one out. It refreshes your skin. Removes all the impurities and leaves your skin feeling baby soft! I recommend this 100% for all skin types! I use this twice a day. You can find it here.

Johnson’s Daily Nourishing Day Cream –This has an SPF15 that can never be a bad thing! I have tried lots of moisturizer’s and never been fussy with them, until my skin started getting really dry. This is perfect because it lasts for 24 hours. It sinks into the skin. Feels lovely and smells lovely! I use this twice a day. You can find it here.

Murad Eye Cream – I wont say much about this one because I don’t think it does much. However Iv started using eye creams in the chance it will warn off any premature wrinkles! I received it in a glossy box. Going to be honest, I put it on when I remember!

Pretty:perfect Eye Roll On – I got this really really cheaply. I was just looking for something to wake my tired eyes up in the morning. It certainly does that. It feels cool and refreshing! I use this once a day in the morning. I’m not entirely sure where you can get it sorry!

Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Complex – Now I’m only 21 years old and I really like using this! Same as the eye cream really. I’m warning off the premature wrinkles. I do have a really irritating squint line on my nose though from not wearing sunglasses. Wear sunglasses kids! I put it on once in the morning and just reduces the line. It smells lovely and I really do like it! I got it as a free sample but you can get it here.

Avon’s Planet Spa Facial Mask – Last but not least… This is a Thailand lotus flower deep pore cleansing facial mask. A bit of a mouth full! This mask is my favorite that I have tried.  It smells gorgeous. It easy to apply, easy to remove and does what it says! Its also really affordable. If your like me and get bored of sitting with your face still for 15 minutes, give this one a try. It only takes 5 minutes to set. I use this once a week. Sometimes twice if my skin is playing up! You can find it here.

It seems like a lot looking back on it!

Do you have any recommendations for me?

Have a beautiful day xxx
